We're looking for a highly qualified and experienced individual to join us as Head of Factual Development.

Working with the team of producers and directors to build on and expand our slate, you'll lead the development strategy, bringing a high standard of research, storytelling and format creation, to drive the production of original and distinctive documentaries that reach and engage broad audiences.

The ideal candidate is creative, with experience of writing and pitching dynamic and innovative documentaries. You have strong links with the major broadcasters. You are able to communicate development strategy efficiently and effectively. You are passionate about untold stories, diverse voices and unconventional storytelling.

You will have a network track record in developing and securing commissions of observational and high quality presenter-led documentaries. Perhaps you are a Development Producer looking to step up, or already have experience as a Head of Development/Productions.
