Little Bird Films is a dynamic, female-founded Welsh indie making unscripted programmes for BBC3, BBC Wales, Channel 4 and S4C.

At this important time in Little Bird's growth, we're seeking a tenacious and highly creative Head of Development and Development Researcher to work alongside the senior team to help shape an enviable slate of fact-ent formats, Daytime and youth-skewing ideas to pitch to a range of UK and international broadcasters.

HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT ROLE

The ideal candidate must have a recent track record of generating, developing and winning factual commissions, have a wealth of commissioner contacts and will be tapped into the international market.

They'll be responsible for shaping and building our slate, helping to attract and secure talent, as well as running a small development team with big ambitions.

With a keen eye for detail and a thirst for new ideas, they will work closely with the Creative and Managing Director to create quality ideas that have integrity.

Confidence in and experience with pitching to commissioners is a must, as is the ability to create brilliant pitch decks, and shoot and edit compelling sizzles on a tight budget.
