Our Pulse team creates a benchmarking tool used by the likes of Monzo, Starling, Natwest and Tesco Bank. On top of all of that, we're a media company, our Growth team generate a stream of content that supports our brand and changes the conversation - not necessarily in that order. Our Foundry team is creating a fintech building machine by leveraging our experience and history of building multiple fintech banks and other propositions. Everyone at 11:FS fits our 4 core values: Team, Attitude, Communication and Impact, and this remains at the core of our growth.This role involves leading the 11:FS Pulse content team in crafting and executing a robust content strategy, with a keen focus on the latest developments in financial services and products. The position requires producing and reviewing high-quality editorial content centred on user experience (UX) and fintech product developments. Candidates should possess outstanding writing skills as well as a thorough understanding of UX design principles and financial products. The role demands collaboration with the commercial team to maximise the commercial value of Pulse's content, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and market trends.Responsibilities Manage a team of writers and video editors to ensure a high standard of content is published across the platform, and operational efficiencies are achieved and maintainedCreate and implement a content strategy for 11:FS Pulse, we're looking for someone to come on and shape the future direction of our product's content modelDeliver and execute the content strategy behind a new feature benchmarking tool within the platformDevise a commercially guided content acquisition strategy, gathering best in class user journeys from our target marketsBe an expert in analysing the UX of financial services apps and websites, based on videos recorded by real usersWrite an annual report, focusing on key product trends in financial servicesProofreading content drafted by our other writers, to maintain quality standards and adherence to our style guide.Lead the Pulse content team to identify new financial service products to include in the platform.Support the content team with general managementProvide support to key clients to help them find Pulse content relevant to themManagement of a pipeline of content for Pulse, working with video editors, content requesters and content writers.Support commercial team in client facing situations with your subject matter expertiseExperience and qualifications4+ years experience in the field of UX (or similar):3+ years of experience in financial services1+ years of management experienceOpinionated and knowledgeable about UX/UI DesignExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh degree of knowledge about fintech/financial serviceA collaborative and engaged team player with an interest in mentoring and helping others to learn and growHas a strong desire to be a manager and leader
