About us:
Racecourse Media Group is the umbrella organisation for those 34 racecourses which hold an interest in Racing TV (Sky 426, Virgin 536 and 411), Racing TV International (international betting shop/digital service) and Racecourse Data Company (licensor of Pre-Race Data). Racing TV and Racing TV International also broadcast racing from all 26 Irish racecourses.

Overview of position
Working as a member of the Racing TV gallery team, as one of four full-time graphics operators: ensuring accurate creation and playout of all graphics requirements for the channel output.

Key Responsibilities
• Operating the Chyron graphics system in the Racing TV gallery, using the bespoke Racing Client interface
• Building and playing out graphics for the daily live programme and various other programme strands, as well as other special programmes as required
• Accurate playout of all graphics for the live show
• Compiling and building graphics based on details provided by producers and pundits
• Liaising with Assistant Producers to produce graphics for daily video analysis
• Liaising with the Racing TV marketing department and bookmaking partners to create promotional graphics
• Providing graphics for Coursetrack's experimental tracking system; monitoring and reporting on accuracy of the data
• Setting up race data for the day, and prepping any graphics requested for the forthcoming days
• Manually inputting data and loading PA data to the Chyron
• Liaising with PA regarding any problems with data supply
• Training and monitoring performance of freelance operators
Essential requirements/Qualifications
• Experience of working within a live (Sports) TV Graphic Operator Nov 2020 environment
• Keen eyes and ears for accuracy and detail
• Excellent Team Player
• Knowledge and experience of Chyron systems would be beneficial
• Knowledge of horse racing and betting an advantage

SHIFT PATTERN:
• Working 7-day fortnight
• 2 x Graphics Ops in each day

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to provide flexible cover according to needs of the channel
