Graphic Designer

The role is within the Creative Services team, based in the Camden HQ. This team provides an in-house design, artworking and resource service for the Dr. Martens brand, led by the Global Marketing team, and also supporting the EMEA region.

A lead creative agency develop our top-level seasonal brand campaigns and it is the role of the Creative Services team to help deliver these campaigns globally across all consumer touchpoints, ensuring that the brand look & feel is consistent and of the highest standard.

Reporting to the Senior Creative, you will predominantly be working on EMEA marketing as well as supporting with Global creative execution where required. Other departments require assistance from Creative Services from time to time, so you will be a flexible team player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working closely with the EMEA and Global Marketing teams to provide graphic design and artworking support including but not restricted to:
Event promotion artwork (print, digital and moving image)
EMEA Wholesale collateral including digital banners
Providing creative support to Global Social team with artwork for social posts and platform banners
Assisting the Retail teams with POS and large format artwork
Assisting with seasonal product catalogues

A relevant degree and 2+ years commercial graphic design experience, including digital and ideally retail or experiential design for a similar global brand, retailer or agency with such clients.
A strong design portfolio demonstrating the above
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Premier, proficient in Microsoft Office software, working knowledge of presentation software i.e. Powerpoint & Google Slides.
Strong communicator who can work with all levels of the business who is ambitious, energetic and entrepreneurial with ability to act and work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
Ability to juggle multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
A high standard of written English
Comprehension of French and/or German advantageous but not essential
