We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Graphic Artist to undertake the creation of multiple prop graphics for inclusion in the show.We will look to you to be responsible for overseeing the episodes that are in production in respect of all prop graphics. This would involve obtaining graphics requirements from Prepping and Shooting teams, often at short notice and then research and produce prop graphics (and signage) using a variety of computer software, equipment and materials. You would also be responsible for the design, artwork and all printing and fabricating of the prop graphic. A proven knowledge of print machines and materials is desirable.You will also be required to create and produce images appropriate for use on a wide variety of technology i.e. computer, laptop, tablets and mobile phone screens, to be used in vision, in accordance with the requirements of the script.You will liaise with our clearance team re copyright; legalities etc and develop and maintain excellent working relationships with specialist suppliers. You will closely liaise with various production personnel including the Head of Art and Design; Supervising Art Director; Art and Standby Art Directors, Production Buyers, Studio Crew and Production Management.Operating and maintaining specialist equipment means you will be responsible for the safe application of graphics as required, whilst maintaining and stocktaking library labels and materials. You must have an excellent knowledge of Adobe photoshop and illustrator, computer image manipulation and graphics techniques.The successful person will have a Certification or Qualification in Graphic Design or other relevant experience / qualification in relation to the role. A proven track record of working within TV or film, Drama Design environment is essential.You must possess a high degree of creative and organisational skills with precise attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills able to have daily contact and dealings with a diverse range of internal and external production personnel. You will need to have the ability to prioritise and meet tight production deadlines with a flexible approach to workload and working hours.Due to the nature of the production, confidentiality is absolutely essential.
