Set up by former BBC producers, we give our clients the ability to stream live events online to the quality of a major broadcaster by using a combination of production know-how, creative flair and editorial sharpness. As we enter our third year, we're looking for a driven, seasoned professional to lead our production operations globally.We have just been selected as the official livestreaming partner at the UN's COP29 climate conference in Baku, where we will be producing dozens of simultaneous live streaming OBs over a two week period. The job will also cover other events all over the world for clients such as the World Bank, United Nations and Associated Press. We have offices in London and Dubai and an inventory of 200+ cameras. We expect to be operating with a headcount of up to 500 in the year ahead. Reporting to the two founders, the role will be at the forefront of the company's future growth.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Team managementBuild and lead teams working across multiple projects and countries.Financial managementDeliver seven-figure projects on budget through careful forecasting, cost-tracking, and negotiation.Project deliveryRunning international productions with large-scale logistics, shipping, recruitment, and facilities requirements. Building systemsAs well as running systems, you will need to be confident coming into an environment where structures may have to be put in place or existing ones need updating.CompensationVery competitive. Base + Commission.LocationThis is a full-time office-based role in either our Dubai or London office (part-time and/or remote working isn't an option for this role) with regular overseas travel. You're likely to be on the road for at least two months a year. Duration12-month contract with a view to becoming a permanent position.Right to workYou will need the right to work in the UK if you are based in our London office. We may be able to support candidates to obtain a visa to work and reside in the UAE. THE INDIVIDUALThis will be a vital role at the company, responsible for the smooth running of all productions. You should be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.A great leaderProven leadership skills, with a talent for building teams and structures.A seasoned professional Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in international broadcast production. A background in large events, live-streaming or live television would be particularly useful.An exceptional budget managerYou need to be comfortable working with seven or eight figure, multi-currency budgets, from conception through to delivery on target.A scrapperThis is not a role for the faint-hearted! You will need to thrive in challenging environments and be an expert in bringing order to the chaos. A rockYou will need to have a positive mindset: resilient, able to balance multiple priorities while remaining focused and clear.An artful plate spinnerThe ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, spread across different time zones.A kind humanThe most important of them all.
