Gallery Production Assistant

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Gallery Production Assistant (part-time) to join our Daytime team, which includes Lorraine, This Morning & Loose Women. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced and creative environment at the heart of television production.
The Gallery Production Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of live or recorded productions. They are responsible for precisely timing the broadcast, providing essential support to the Director, Producer and on-screen presenters.
A flexible approach to work is a must as the candidate will be working to a shift pattern which will include bank holidays.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
Proven experience in a live television production environment, within a gallery setting as production assistant
Experience in working effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A good understanding of television production workflows
A passion for daytime television and a keen interest in the industry

Accurate and clear communicator - ensure information is understood by all recipients
Experience in communicating TX critical emergencies while on air
Have experience in adapting communication styles as with a calm approach to appropriate colleagues, talent and Senior Production teams members and Network members
Planning & Organisation
Experience in working in a fast paced, and highly pressurised environment
Strong attention to detail, with particular emphasis on accurate programme timings
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Experience with the specific playout systems currently used by the production (e.g.Maestro graphics)
Proven experience in learning quickly and adapting to changing situations
Clearing Paperwork (Silvermouse)
Working with Others
Understands the demands of a pressurised environment - awareness of the team's needs and priorities for the programme
Builds a good rapport with colleagues, and works collaboratively to seek and understand their views and creative vision
Ability to be a team player and work effectively with different departments across the programme
Additional Information:
Ability to work flexible hours, including late evenings and weekends, as required
Must be able to work on location if needed
Must be able to work early mornings
