What we are looking for:
• 5 years experience with front-end web development using HTML 5, CSS 3, LESS, SASS
• Strong sense for UI and UX, design, develop and understand the responsive design principles
• Quickly develop executable prototypes and iterate on ideas
• 5 years experience with WordPress CMS development, features and themes to support ongoing development efforts for our websites
• Strong experience working with a range of legacy and modern libraries and frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular.js, React.js, Backbone.js, Three.js
• Practical experience with REST and JSON APIs, and an understanding of how to build applications that serve and consume these types of APIs
• Experience desired developing with social APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and OAuth
• Solid software development experience with PHP Frameworks (Laravel , Yii, Symfony)
• Familiar with the core concepts of object oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, problem solving and system architecture using PHP
• 5 years experience with MySQL and NoSQL
• Developing and deploying applications on AWS
• Expertise in working with cloud systems, specifically for application hosting, file storage, and other related concerns, server administration
• Understanding of source control systems like Git and SVN
• Scrum, agile process, unit testing & test driven development
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture including performance, accessibility and usability
• You code for all major browsers, including Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari and maybe even Opera, so the experience is the same no matter the perspective
• Security - SSH, VPNs, IPSec

• You can clearly communicate (verbally and in writing) information, concerns and status to our production and leadership teams in an accurate, complete and timely manner

• Work closely with product owners, tech leads, quality assurance and direct management to elaborate and define requirements, priorities and estimate timelines

• Excellent attention to detail, troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work well with rapid deployment cycles and tight deadlines
• Participate in design and code reviews with other developers, giving and taking feedback
• Experience of business digital marketing / online advertising (SEO/SEM) ideal, understanding of SEO best practice
• Minimum Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent work experience

A minimum of 5 years industry experience is essential.
