We are looking for Freelance Directors to join our Production team in Chiswick, West London.

You will be responsible for preparing, directing and vision-mixing our live and pre-recorded shows with a focus on making them visually appealing, compelling to watch and effective at telling the story of the brand, in line with the QVC style. You will work on shift with a team of Producers and Directors, working closely with our Presenters, Guests and Category Producers to make sure that each programme on the schedule is fully prepared and planned.

There's a lot to get excited about as the live broadcasting and the off-line content creation environments are ever-changing. With a wide variety of shows, products and people, the role can be both interesting and challenging.

Director:
We are looking for freelance vision mixer directors with a vast experience of vision mixing and directing live, multi-camera, studio-based productions. You will also be experienced in multi-layered keying, DME re-sizing on the fly, re-assigning aux bus inputs, saving snapshots and using macros.

Working with the Line Producer and following the QVC house style, you will be expected to guide the on air talent throughout the live show, while directing camera operators, graphics operators and studio floor staff to ensure a seamless and engaging viewing experience. Considering we are the UK's number one television shopping channel, you will understand and use various production techniques that support storytelling and the sharing of information in a tasteful and elegant manner. You will be familiar with the Sony MVS-7000X and using multiple ME banks and creating visually interesting composite effects.
