Rural Media Productions is our charity's rapidly growing trading arm. We are looking for a proactive and creative Development Producer with experience in generating commercial leads and/or broadcast commissions.

This is an exciting time in Rural Media's history, as we move out of Covid poised for major growth and maximum impact of our work to inspire and reflect unheard individuals, groups and communities. Interested individuals must be aligned with the charity's wider social mission. You will be full of creative ideas, digitally literate, an excellent communicator, and passionate about developing new commercial leads and broadcast commissions within a social context.

The role, based remotely, will research and identify new sources of commercial income, work with Rural Media's Head of Development and Creative Director to develop viable new creative projects, services and intellectual property, respond to commercial tenders, develop project briefs and pitch packs, establish relationships with broadcaster and streamer commissioners, and contribute to strategic commercial development.

We are initially recruiting on a freelance basis with scope to progress to fixed-term contract.
