A fantastic opportunity has now arisen to join our food department as a Food Producer.

The This Morning team are looking for a Food Producer with experience working in a live studio environment and on location. The successful candidate will be required to run the busy food department at This Morning, be full of original ideas and have experience working with high profile chefs.

The role

We are looking for a confident candidate who is organised and focused in producing, directing and editing food content for the programme. Liaising with the dayteams, features teams and web-team to ensure continuity across all food content on This Morning.

You will be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and not be fazed by competing demands on your time.

In this varied and busy role, you will be involved in breaking down recipes to work for live TV and planning and setting up location filming for the live show and VT content.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

Extensive knowledge of food, trends and topical news.
Must have producer credits - preferably in a live studio setting.
Experience managing a team
Experience working with on-screen talent.
Experience creating, managing and forward planning content.
Experience setting up location shoots for both live and VT filming.
A team player who is willing to go the extra mile and collaborate with others.

Experience in managing a small team
Ability to collaborate with home economists and researchers to deliver daily/weekly content
Ability to create and maintain relationships with talent, agents and effective communication with colleagues and external clients
Flexibility to work a shift pattern which will include weekends and bank holidays
Staying up-to-date with current news, social media trends, and the latest recipes, and can quickly adapt content to breaking news
