With state-of-the-art facilities in Central London, Bedfordshire and Reading, we strive to constantly stay on the cutting edge of technology, collaborating with fellow disruptors to enable the creatives to stay creative.The Position:Step into the world of Sound Warriors as a Foley Mixer, where you will be at the heart of creating soundscapes for the biggest games, films, and TV shows globally. Join the largest Foley team anywhere and lead the charge in capturing and crafting sounds that bring stories to life. Your role is crucial in translating the creative vision of directors and sound supervisors into auditory reality, combining advanced technical skills with boundless imagination, a strong team ethic, and relentless drive.Key Responsibilities:Recording Sessions:Lead and execute Foley recording sessions with precision and creativity, ensuring the highest quality audio capture.Provide technical and creative guidance to Foley Artists, pushing the boundaries of sound to achieve extraordinary effects.Assist in the day-to-day Foley recording across a diverse range of projects, from blockbuster films to top-tier video games.Coordination and Collaboration:Coordinate seamlessly with other Foley Mixers, Foley Editors, and post-production teams to ensure Foley recordings integrate flawlessly into the final mix.Work closely with Sound Supervisors and Directors, interpreting and executing their vision with both technical expertise and creative insight.Collaborate creatively with the editorial team, ensuring all briefs are met with innovative and effective solutions.Studio Leadership:Oversee the preparation and maintenance of Foley Studios, ensuring they are ready for action both aesthetically and technically.Manage studio schedules and ensure all equipment is in peak condition and set up for each session, creating an environment where creativity can thrive.Project Management:Plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and resources are efficiently allocated.Identify and address potential capacity, project, and resource issues, proactively communicating these to department managers.Quality Control:Review and critique Foley recordings rigorously, providing constructive feedback and making necessary adjustments to uphold the highest audio standards.Ensure all versions of Picture and Audio materials are current and accurately synchronized, maintaining the integrity of the project.Drive towards delivering all elements of Foley independently to the highest standard, consistently pushing the envelope of what's possible.Client Interaction:Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during Foley recording sessions, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met with professionalism and creativity.Deliver final Foley tracks to clients and editorial teams, providing support for any revisions or additional requests with a client-first attitude.General Duties:In addition to the specific duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description, all employees should be aware of their specific responsibilities towards the following:Adhere to all health and safety and fire regulations and to cooperate with the company in maintaining good standards of health and safety.Adhere to all policies and procedures at all times.Uphold ethical and professional standards and not behave in a manner that is likely to bring the company into disrepute.Promote and sustain a responsible attitude towards equal opportunities and diversity across the company.Demonstrate a commitment to on-going learning and development and to participate in any training relevant to the role.Be an active role model and team member at Molinare.This job description is not exhaustive.
