Underpinning the organization's purpose-driven agenda is a diversification of the league, with the goal of immediately progressing gender and racial equity and inclusivity.SailGP is a global organization with defined values that shape the culture of its diverse team: deliver quality, break boundaries, make an impact, stand together, and strike a balance.Summary:As a Financial Accountant, you will report to the Global Financial Controller and work with the various global subsidiaries within SailGP.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare quarterly and annual financial statements for all subsidiaries as requiredPrepare VAT returns and other schedules for all taxes in all jurisdictionsManage cash forecasts for the subsidiariesLead the annual audit including preparation of audit files and liaison with auditors and any ad hoc auditsSupervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staffManage group inventory systemsAd hoc financial analysis and reporting as requestedAbout You:ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with at least five years' experience in a finance roleDrive for accuracy and exceptional attention to detail when handling information.Strong organizational, prioritization and administrative skills.Ability to communicate confidently and adapt communication style according to the needs of the stakeholder.Self-motivated to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.Work well under pressure to meet tight deadlinesBe passionate about sportUnderstand that finance is a key service within the organisation and understand the need to communicate with finance staff and all other inquires in a cordial and timely mannerLocation:Based in the London office (Hammersmith) and willing to adjust working hours to accommodate all jurisdictionsSailGP is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace committed to building a team culture that celebrates diversity, equity and inclusion.
