We provide a proactive, dedicated and professional service provision for our clients to promote, co-ordinate and manage all aspects of filming, events, public engagements and brand activations.Working in a creative industry worth an estimated £3.8bn to the UK economy, our Finance & Operations Manager role will give you first hand exposure of enabling commercial film, photography and event activity in one of the busiest production cities in the world: London. It's fast paced, dynamic and a fantastic opportunity to join a hard working and personable team and match the drive and ambition of this growing company.Role:We are looking for an intelligent individual who will be able to hit the ground running and learn on the job, to take the next step in their career. The role is open to growth, requiring the successful candidate to make it their own, and to grow and progress with the company. The ideal candidate will have valuable experience and understanding of business accounting, in order to manage all daily finance and take responsibility for the daily running of the office and its operations.The candidate will need experience within a similar position within a high transactional environment with supervisory/management knowledge. During quieter periods, there will be opportunities to be involved in other areas of the business.Duties will include:- Managing the day to day accountancy functions - updating accountancy software, reconciliations of sales and purchase ledger, bank accounts- Producing Management of Accounts - monthly & quarterly- VAT returns- Invoicing & credit control- Payment processing- HR - In charge of staff reviews, staff expenses, staff holidays / leave & illness- Payroll - Calculating monthly payroll and paying PAYE & pension contributions on time- Maintaining office supplies and smooth daily running of the office- Implementing/modifying existing processes for increased efficiencyYou must be able to demonstrate the following key requirements:- Strong previous accounting experience (3-4 years)- Experience in a similar position- Proven capabilities in all areas of credit control- Strong attention to detail- Excellent initiative and problem solving ability- Able to work under pressure and deadlines- Able to work unsupervised- Confidential and trustworthyYou will ideally have knowledge of the following software and online tools:- Google Spreadsheets- Accounting Software (preferably Xero)- Microsoft Office- GmailAlthough a busy and exciting role, you will have a healthy work life balance.
