Film Production Manager

We're on the lookout for an awesome Production Manager to join the Learning Film Team. This is a great opportunity to put your stamp on a growing and successful team on a mission to reinvest and challenge the industry! We are a fun and hard-working team who take pride in what we do!

As a key team member, you will be working across multiple creative learning film projects for high-profile clients in a range of industries. You will work closely with a team of unique personalities, from talented producers, designers, learning consultants and animators.

You'll be sourcing and allocating internal and external talent needed to deliver film and animation projects. You'll be overseeing pre and post-production to ensure that shoots and edits are delivered smoothly on time and within budget. You'll be facilitating internal team meetings as well as providing a great client experience in workshops.

Key Tasks:

Managing and planning the logistics of film production and shoots. Taking ownership and overseeing the pre-production process to ensure that shoots and edits are delivered smoothly, on time and within budget and high-quality work is produced. This includes:
Ensuring Recce Reports are returned and reviewed by the Producer.
Sourcing, booking and managing castings, actors, contributors and voice over talent.
Booking and sourcing equipment and props.
Creating and delivering production documentation (i.e. Production Schedules, Call Sheets and RAMS etc.).
Booking couriers and taxis.
Managing pre-production expenditure throughout delivery ensuring resources and expenses are within budget. This includes ensuring all financials related to the production are received, checked and purchase orders are raised in a timely manner.
Facilitating internal film meetings to report on statues, escalate, remove and/or minimise film shoot blockers and risks. This includes maintaining the Shoot Calendar.
Liaise with Project Managers to allocate resource, build timelines and budgets. Act as point of contact for clients.
Support Project Managers to source, allocate and manage internal and external talent needed to deliver film and animation projects. This includes onboarding, reviewing the quality of work, purchase orders and building up a network of film freelances. Being a point of contact for film freelancers and working with Project Managers to ensure expectations and pre-production processes are being followed.
Support Film Producers throughout production ensuring high-quality work is produced and project requirements are met.
To maintain the Learning Kit Inventory (inc. software licences on the Cheat Sheet).
Supporting Project Managers to manage and deliver Film projects when required.
Key skills & Requirements:

At least 3 years experience in a fast-paced agency environment.
Strong knowledge of production, from small scale to multiple day/camera shoots.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Excellent organisation and time management.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to clients and team members.
Experience in working with a range of budgets and timeframes.
Attention to detail managing complex shooting schedules and finances.
Staying cool under pressure and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Positive attitude, string work ethic and being able to work as part of a team is a must.
Resilient and highly adaptable to change.
