Ipsos ECE uses film and ethnographic thinking to answer market and social research questions for our clients. We carry out projects across various industries and explore a huge variety of topics from remote community's access to healthcare to home cleaning and home dynamics.

We are looking to add London-based fluent Malay speakers or Malaysian-based English speaking documentary-makers or film-makers (self-shooter/editors) to our database of freelancers as we are seeing more and more requests from our clients to understand the Malaysian market.

Ideal freelancers would have a genuine interest in people and culture, are able to interview/moderate and film at the same time. Ability to edit observational-style short films is also preferred.
