Film Casting Manager

Ealing Studios

We are seeking a Film Casting Project Manager to co-lead a major studio film shooting from August - Jan/16. This is a client-facing hands-on Senior Management position ensuring the smooth running and forward delivery of Mad Dog businesses' revenue and profit targets on this project.

Main Responsibilites:

Project Management
Ongoing liaison with client
Quality control
Daily delivery of look books of suitable options for client.
Artists communication - ensuring artists are booked and checked in and replacing dropouts.
Set visits, could be early in the morning.
Negotiation on artists pay
Budget management

Experience Required
Professional client handling within the production industry
Experience in a senior management role in the production industry
Casting experience
Experience of leading a team
Software and internet skills, Microsoft office, excel
Budget management/financial proficiency

Key Characteristics
- Have excellent communication skills, and be confident taking and making phone calls
- Resilient and cool under pressure 'no problem' attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills and good at handling stressful situations
- Eye for detail
- Be happy to be flexible with working hours, with some long working days and possibly the occasional weekend
- Possess a good eye for casting and finding the right face for the right scene
- Be able to multi-task and work well in a high-pressured, fast-paced environment
- Pay great attention to detail, have great organisational skills and work well with a passionate team.
