Their exhibition programme explores the key topics shaping society today, including artificial intelligence and the climate emergency. They produce exhibitions that use emerging technology and digital creativity to put the visitor at the centre of the experience. Previous exhibitions include Digital Revolution (2015), AI: More than Human (2019) and Our Time on Earth (2021).The roleBarbican Immersive are looking for an Exhibition Organiser to work on an upcoming exhibition that will take place across the Barbican centre next year. This role will work across all areas of planning and production, working with a small, agile and fast-paced exhibition-making team. The Exhibition Organiser will work with the Exhibitions Manager and the wider Barbican Immersive team to ensure the highest standards of production are carried out in relation to the exhibition's development and delivery. This includes supporting the commissioning of new artworks, coordinating logistical arrangements for transport and installation and preparing the exhibition for international touring.You'll have excellent communication, administrative and organisation skills, with the ability to work well under pressure both independently and as part of a dynamic and supportive team.
