We are looking for an exceptional Executive Producer to lead and provide hands-on editorial support for a flagship weekly politics and current affairs podcast: Pod Save the UK. This is a rare opportunity to shape a distinctive politics podcast featuring high-profile talent, that brings humour and solutions to the weekly news.

The Role will involve:
* Editorial oversight of a weekly politics and current affairs video podcast with a distinctive voice and strong public profile
* Leading and mentoring a talented team of producers
* Compliance oversight, with an awareness of broadcast law to clear the podcast for weekly release
* Writing and editing scripts, in collaboration with producers and presenters
* Supervision of digital marketing team and activity to grow awareness of the show across YouTube and social media
* Liaising with hosts and clients, balancing creative, editorial and practical needs

You will have:
* A strong track record in news gathering and journalism, ideally in fast-turnaround weekly news, politics or current affairs for major broadcasters or publishers
* Editorial flair in politics, news or current affairs
* Excellent knowledge of compliance, regulation and broadcast law
* Experience writing scripts and working closely with high-profile presenters
* Confidence managing teams and supporting talent under pressure
* Creative ambition to evolve a much-admired show in a fast-moving media environment
* A strong collaborative approach
* Desirable: familiarity or experience of TV programmes, news-gathering or video podcasts
