An opportunity for an experienced EVS Operator to work for the leading horse racing media rights organisation within their live Turf TV gallery operation, based at their broadcast facility in Ealing, West London.

In this role you will manage the output of live horseracing from both the UK and USA via the EVS system.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

- Operating the EVS & IPD systems
- Use a 6 channel EVS to record, edit, and play back
- Edit highlights packages and turn around interviews using EVS clips & playlist
- Search and log clips using EVS IP director
- Store and transfer files - Record previews and oversee playout for filler material
- Construct and edit form guides and highlights appropriately
- Provision of stills, replays and angles as and when required
- Edit of errors in recorded material
- Construction of the overnight loop / playlists, in accordance to the needs of the producer or as stated on the running order
- Clipping up inserts for the following day's
broadcast and making comprehensive notes on the log sheets

Required Skills/Experience

- Experience of working within a live (Sports) TV environment
- Keen eyes and ears for accuracy and detail
- Excellent Team Player
- An interest/understanding of horse racing desirable

Essential requirements/Qualifications

- Proven background as a EVS Operator in a live gallery environment
- Proven track record of achievement
- Willing to provide flexible cover according to needs of the channel
- Good written and verbal communication skills - Strong attention to detail
