The main purpose of the role will be to deal with the coordination of multimedia resources required to support live roadshow and conference events.Operations Manager, Events and RoadshowsLiaise with Event and Roadshow support areas to determine business requirements and deliver timely and cost-effective technical solutions for events.Planning and execution of technical requirements for conferences and roadshow events at hotels and other similar venues.Attend site inspections and pre-conference meetings, develop room drawings and budget estimates, coordinate and execute pre/post production plans, oversee internal and outsourced technicians, complete post-event invoice and budget reconciliation.Operation of portable LCD projectors, video record and playback equipment, audio recorders, P/A systems, microphones, audio mixers and amplifiers and associated screens, speakers and sets.Familiarity with audio conference and video conference systems.Familiarity with auditorium systems including recording and playback equipment, camera and related controls, video switchers, routing equipment and audio mixing equipment.Familiarity with PC, LAN, streaming audio/video and telecommunications operations and terminology. Travel required to conferences and roadshow events across UK and Europe.Demonstrated technical proficiency.Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.High energy level; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Flexible, adaptable team-player.Display a professional and courteous manner to all clients, technical and support staff.Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, oral and written skills.Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.High energy level; ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in audio, video, staging or related field.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, primarily PowerPoint.Ideally hold a B.A or professional qualification in a related field.Ideally hold or be working towards CTS Certification.At a formal level the job holder will be charged with a number of objectives as part of their annual appraisal and development plan.At an informal level the individual will be encouraged to actively participate in departmental improvements.40 hours per week of 07:00-19:00 hrs Monday to Friday.
