Warner Bros. De Lane Lea is an award-winning post-production facility in the heart of Soho and a division of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL), a purpose built, state-of-the-art film and television studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UKWhilst known for its rich history in sound for film, Warner Bros. De Lane Lea has recently established itself as one of London's premier Picture Post Production facilities.The Engineer Coordinator is an entry-level Post Production engineering position responsible for setup and maintenance of 40+ in-house client cutting rooms, multiple client communication networks and management of facility hardware/software resources.The successful candidate will be part of an engineering department and with support from the current engineers, will provide technical support to all clients and staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.Accountabilities First line technical support to all personnelImplement cutting room move-in/out scheduleManage/track asset movement throughout the facilityEnsure production specifications for cutting rooms/studios/grade theatres are metConnect and configure client networks including patching and switch managementUpkeep of facility-wide phone systemManage engineering department records and databases for equipment maintenanceLiaise with equipment suppliers and service companies regarding to equipment maintenance and repairsAd hoc duties as required The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following: Intermediate knowledge of analogue and digital audio principlesIntermediate knowledge of Avid Pro ToolsIntermediate knowledge of Mac OS and WindowsIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of analogue and digital electronics (advantage)Knowledge of video signals and formats (advantage)Knowledge of networking (advantage)Knowledge of post-production workflows (advantage)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create an immediate rapport with clients and staffAbility to manage and prioritise client and staff expectations in a diplomatic mannerTechnically minded with the ability to troubleshoot effectively and efficientlyAbility to work well under pressure and to a deadlineUndergraduate degree or equivalent in Audio or Post Production Engineering or related fieldPrevious experience in a technical role is ideal but not essential
