The Club is seeking an Electrician to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on all electrical systems, lighting, power single & three phase, control gear, emergency, and critical systems at the stadium.

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for making sure all machinery and equipment always runs smoothly. The role is wide ranging and diverse and involves the management and supervision of sub-contractors for specialist equipment as well as the hands-on practical knowledge for day-to-day repairs.

The maintenance team forms a key part of the smooth running of operations at the Stadium and the position will involve working a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off.

Due to the nature of the industry, some out of office hours including evenings, weekends and bank holidays may be required. You might also be required to support events from time to time.

JOB PURPOSE:

Working as part of a wider Stadium Operations team, the Electrician will be responsible for maintaining the electrical installation within and around the stadium campus and remote properties.

This is a diverse role which has a bias towards electrical maintenance and requires you to carry out and supervise associated inspection and maintenance activities. Working closely with other departments to ensure minimal downtime to the stadium function. Producing and reviewing method statements and risk assessments. Management and/or delivery of planned and unplanned maintenance activities on electrical equipment. Producing final reports and engineers' reports for the CAFM system.

Collate site and SCADA information to facilitate effective decision making in delivering fault identification and rectification.

On-Call: The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is expected to participate in a call out rota to provide emergency response outside of normal working hours upon meeting and completing call out criteria.

The role also includes the following responsibilities:
Support the production and review of relevant THFC procedures, processes, and technical literature. Support as required with other projects of the wider THFC portfolio

The role on occasions may include the need to perform tasks outside of the electrical field along with the co-ordination of small works and the supervision of contractors.
To be active in the energy function, ensuring optimum efficiency and cost savings through all services within the Stadium and Campus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) reactive maintenance, condition maintenance, statutory inspection and non-destructive testing as directed on all electrical installations, plant, machinery, and equipment.
Liaise with THFC helpdesk and other subcontractors to deliver maintenance across the THFC estate to a suitable standard in accordance with the maintenance schedules in line with SFG20 or Manufacturers guidelines.
Maintain electrical equipment and installations are compliant with BS7671 wiring regulations.
Point of call for daily maintenance, electrical faults and other tasks as required.
Complete suitable risk assessments and method statements prior to undertaking any work and document in full to ensure safe working practice.
Provide support to BMS systems with fault finding and repair on low voltage AC/DC control systems.
Available on rotation for out of hours call out if required
Support Stadium and Campus events with a flexible approach to carry out other additional tasks, projects and assistance as requested by Operations Management.
Complete Pre-Event Action Plans (PEAPs) to support Stadium preparations for each Event as required for the Safety Certificate.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A relevant electrical qualification (such as City & Guilds 2360, 2365 & 2391) or equivalent recognized qualification at level 3
18th Edition
Authorised Person trained for LV systems preferred.
A proven track record in maintaining electrical and associated systems in Stadiums or large commercial buildings
IPAF/PASMA trained preferred
Dali Lighting Controls experience
Knowledge of Static Inverters and UPS Systems
Hold a Full UK driving licence
Health and Safety training (IOSH) desirable
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Thorough knowledge of safe working practises
High level of IT, administration, and communication skills
