Hours: 12 weeks part time, 84 weeks full time, 3 weeks part time.

Location: Remote working, but based at Aardman's studio in Bristol when required, abiding to current Covid protocols & procedures.

We are looking for an Editor to become part of Aardman's first fully in-house CG/mixed medium series. The series will be 52eps x 11mins.

The purpose of this role will be to aid the Animatics Editor with the creation of episodic animatics, to prepare and input picture and sound media during all stages of the production.

The successful candidate will aid in setting up the edit pipeline, working alongside the Animatics Editor and further reaching team. You will be responsible for preparing thumbnails and panels for the Animatics Editor; to cut a first pass animatic or timed cut if/ when required. You will work with the production team to ensure editing sessions adhere to the schedule, and creating deliverables for internal and external comments.

We are looking for a self-motivated person with a positive approach to their work. You will have a good understanding of video and audio formats with experience of using Premiere and Photoshop essential. Strong organisations skills and an ability to prioritise episodes and work to tight deadlines is key.
