BackgroundOptrix Media specialise in corporate communications, sports and brand content. We work closely with many agencies as their dedicated production facility or equally, we love working with brands, helping to define and deliver their video marketing plan. We are seeking a full time Video Editor and Motion Graphic Designer to lead our post production, working alongside our team. The candidate will be a creative and skilled Editor / Motion Graphic Designer, with a minimum of 3 years agency experience. A keen eye for design and detail are a must, plus bags of enthusiasm! This is a hybrid role, working from home and the office, which is near Woking. Below are the key responsibilities and experience required. Responsibilities - Taking projects from the initial brief, liaising with our team through the creative process, turning the rushes into tight edits, creating motion graphics to enhance edits or creating standalone animation videos. - Editing - promotional brand content for websites and social, events comms, corporate and sports content. Fast turnaround projects as well as long form. - Motion graphics - kinetic typography, infographics, explainers and promos. - Creative - developing briefs from the initial stage through the creative process alongside our team; pitching, scripting, storyboarding and shoot planning. - Maintaining the highest standards of editing and design, in line with the Optrix style and the client's brief. - Customer service and communication during all phases of production and client interaction. Constantly building relationships with clients. - Travel within the UK or Worldwide will be required to fit in with production schedule. Experience / Skills - 3+ years experience in all aspects of the post production process, with a specific focus on editing and motion graphics. - Must think like a producer; creative thinking, managing clients and suppliers - Extremely proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, with special emphasis in Premiere and After Effects. - Experienced in all forms of editing, from crafting an emotive story through to event highlights, sports and social content. - Must be able to meet tight deadlines, on a fast-faced production schedule. - Great at working independently and making sound editorial choices but also happy with taking direction. - Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn new products and features. - Excellent communication skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse team.The Offer£33,000 - 40,000 p/a depending on experience24 days holiday allowance + bank holidaysHybrid locationCompany laptopCompany pensionHow to ApplyPlease send your CV, showreel and a short paragraph about yourself.We look forward to hearing from you!
