Taylor Made Media is an award-winning creative agency and a leading producer of branded film content in the UK. We are currently looking for an Edit Assistant to join our growing team.

Although the role would loosely be defined as an edit assistant, it would actually cover a much broader scope. As well as the edit assisting side of things, which would include organisation of projects and media, overseeing delivery of films and creation of films for Social channels, there would also be scope to work on the creative side of the business - helping put together pitches, sourcing visual references, ideas generation and scripting support. And there would be involvement in the animation side of the business as well - supporting our animators and the possibility to get technically involved in some of the animations.

The role will provide a varied day to day challenge and the chance to get involved in many different aspects of production. Because of its variety, the exact boundaries of the role will be somewhat defined by the person who fills it and it will really suit someone who has the organisational skills and discipline to cover the more practical side of the job, but who also has a creative mindset and who is self motivated and wants to quickly progress either into editing or into animation.

Applicants do not have to have extensive experience within the industry but must have a good working knowledge of Premiere Pro and some knowledge of After Effects. Part of the interview process will involve a test using Premiere and a more basic test using After Effects so please only apply if you feel you have the relevant level of ability on these applications. Experience with Photoshop and DaVinci Resolve an advantage but not essential.

As the role will involve a certain amount of work within our existing IT systems, a general aptitude for IT, including being comfortable working on Macs, will also be required.

We are looking for someone to start in January but can be flexible on exact start date based on personal circumstances.
