We looking for an enthusiastic Assistant editor interested in short-form film/promos/commercials/online content.This is a full time role with a global creative agency who we are working with to find a talented, keen and organised team player looking for a great opportunity to gain career progression and a chance to work on some top commercials and music videos.

Basic Proficiency (Plus passion to learn) with Adobe Premiere required.

We have clients looking to fill several roles for an ambitious, offline edit assistant waiting for their first professional role. We are looking for someone who has potential to become a vital support for a creative offline editing team in the global advertising sector.

This is a role that is focussed on creative and practical potential, dynamic problem solving attitude, the ability to remain calm under pressure and the willingness to learn in and outside the office.

• Provide assistance to Head of Editing with the flexibility to move around wider team of editors as required.
• Ingest media from a variety of formats, transcoding where necessary.
• Source sfx, music and track lay as required
• Create EDLs, OMFs, TIFF sequences and uncompressed QuickTime conforms, and liaise with post houses and dubbing studios attending sessions where necessary
• Organise project file systems and prep workflow ahead of all projects. As per company manual.
• Create deliverables and send to clients via FTP
• Keep up to date with new technology developments

Knowledge and experience
Some experience as an edit assistant either professionally or in passion projects, including experience of editing and troubleshooting with Adobe Premiere.
• Uploading work to FTP and creating QT movie links
• Preparing data files
• General IT experience
Good with clients and partner suppliers, attention to details, strong and clear communication regarding all projects, 10steps ahead where necessary.
