With screen promotions in over 8,000 retail stores, a significant eCommerce presence and our own TV home shopping channel, we are an industry leading multi-channel business.THE ROLE Reporting to the Post Production Manager you will primarily be responsible for co-ordinating the production and post production workflow and delivery. You will track and co-ordinate all milestones relating to production and post production projects to assist the Head of Production with meeting all deadlines.Ensuring all elements are prepared and ready for the editors and managing the post production schedule, you will demonstrate a flexible approach when required to meet the changing demands of the business.With multiple projects the role is a challenging one with many competing priorities and working to strict deadlines. You will therefore need to be highly organised and efficient, and possess excellent inter-personal and communications skills. Solid technical knowledge of the production and post production processes is a must.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES• Data Wrangling and ingesting footage and files.• Clocking and Versioning.• Quality Control, ensuring all work is carried out to Broadcast Standards.• Preparing Offline sequences for On-line and Colour Grading.• Perform basic editing tasks and be willing and able to take on small changes and projects should the schedule require it.• Able to work quickly on in-house After Effects templates to change pack shots and pricings.• Archiving and Restoring Projects.• Liaise with the Production Department with regards to upcoming shoots in order to create a smooth workflow between Production and Post Production with regards to footage and data ingestion.• To provide regular updates to the Post Production Manager and other JML teams.• To assist the Post Production Manager in other ad hoc tasks for the department when required.• To track key elements of TVC campaigns to ensure each milestone is completed in a timely manner.• To track all projects through production and post production to ensure key milestones are met and all elements such as scripting, graphics creation, music, etc. are complete • To update the Head of Production on key weekly tasks required for each project• Working with the compliance team and media buyers to ensure correct and timely deliveries for 3rd party media. Assisting in the preparation of files for Clearcast.CORE COMPETENCIES• Possess expert knowledge of the production and post production process.• Excellent planning and organising skills as well as liaising with staff to ensure work is produced on time to campaign deadlines.• Operational Knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Avid Symphony, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop After Effects desirable, training will be given.• Technical knowledge of Post Production Workflows and deliverable file formats and codecs for ingesting and encoding, training will be given.• Demonstrable personal effectiveness - being able to prioritise own time and workload without constant supervision.• Attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and efficiently in order to produce Broadcast quality deliverables across multiple formats and channels while working to strict deadlines.• Flexible with regards to working hours. You may occasionally be needed to work different shifts to suite the Edit and Production schedules.
