Edit Assistant/Broadcast Coordinator

Happy Hour is the South West's leading producer of TV commercials, covering both live action and animation productions, and working across a full mix of advertising and corporate clients, including the charity sector, financial services, to gaming, retail, and brand advertising.

We are now seeking a F/T member of the team to support our producers and head of studio, to help organise our post production workflow and traffic commercials to broadcast.

Who are we looking for? An edit assistant & broadcast traffic coordinator with some edit experience, looking to grow and learn on the job, within our busy production team, with the following skills/experience:

• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere CC and Final Cut Pro 7
• Excellent organisation of files/media
• Good understanding of the different video file formats
• Experience using Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Relevant degree or film making qualification
• Can work quickly to tight deadlines.
• Quick learner
• Once up to speed, has the ability and confidence to suggest new procedures or efficiencies to process.
• Good communicator & team player

Responsibilities:
Creating/clocking multiple versions of mastered commercials, exporting to correct broadcast formats and delivery.
Titling and adding of static text elements in FCP or Premiere.
Submitting, uploading and coordinating clearances of commercials.
Coordinating delivery of commercials to transmission sites via our digital provider.
Issuing copy instructions.
Logging, organising of video media files and folders
Exporting, converting, delivering of video and audio files
Occasional on set runner and film shoot DiT
Opportunity to creative edit in-house materials / reels.
