Driver / Film & Photographic LightingRole Overview 28.01.26*Please note-Applicants must be over 25 years old (insurance requirement).We are looking for a reliable Driver to join our team at Solalights, based in Hayes, West London.This role is central to our operation. Our drivers are the public face of the company and play a key part in maintaining our reputation for professionalism, reliability and care.Key responsibilities-Driving company vehicles and carrying out deliveries and collections to clients and suppliersTaking responsibility for company vehicles, including weekly checks and regular cleaning, or more frequently when requiredLoading and unloading vehicles and assisting the warehouse team where necessaryAssisting with checking equipment in and out of the warehouse (full training provided)Politely and professionally handling delivery-related issues on site, escalating where neededWorking to company procedures and maintaining high standards of health & safetyWhat's important to us-Essential-Full UK driving licence with a clean recordPunctuality and reliability - being on time is criticalProfessional, calm and polite communication with clients and suppliersAbility to negotiate delivery issues diplomatically and represent Solalights positivelyCareful, considerate driving that protects company vehicles, equipment and reputationWillingness to work paid overtime, including occasional weekendsPhysically able to handle lighting equipment in the warehouse and on deliveriesTo support safety and professional presentation, high-visibility clothing and Solalights-branded tops should be worn while working.What we offer-A friendly, collaborative working environment within a small, well-respected companyExposure to modern, high-end film and photographic lighting equipmentInsight into professional film and production workflowsCompetitive salary based on experiencePaid overtime and weekend ratesCompany pensionSupport for learning, development and skill-sharingBasic hours: 40 hours per weekSalary: Based on experience + overtimeHow to apply-Please email your CV and a short covering note.We look forward to hearing from you.
