Documentary director/camera

South-East Asia

This is for a low budget broadcast TV series to shoot in South-East Asia. The successful applicant will be shooting a 13 x 30 minutes slice of life documentary series to be made by small team of two to travel to various countries in South-East Asia over a three month period. We're looking for a cameraperson/director who can shoot this himself, and/or work with a sound recordist in a two man crew. We have our own production offices in Bangkok and Singapore, and the project will be distributed by a world sales agent.

As it's low budget, this will suit someone who is interested in having an adventure in shooting a broadcast TV series, and building up their showreel. We require sufficient evidence that the person can shoot a broadcast programme competently, possess adequate directing skills to make it look professional, and can work quite independently. Also important is that this person can handle working on the road for 2-3 months in one go to shoot the series. This production will be supported by a production supervisor and all expenses will be covered including their travel to Asia.

All living expenses included.

The successful candidate can either use their own camera or a camera/additional equipment can be provided.
