General Summary:The role of the Director, Production Management is to:• Manage the production of content across the studios in EMEA, ensuring delivery is on-time, on-budget and to the highest quality • Develop new and innovative ways to produce content, effectively leveraging internal resources and embedding best practice methodsKey Responsibilities:• Recruit, manage, develop and motivate staff in the Production Department to ensure a high performing team.• Establish and oversee systems for securing intellectual property rights, music licensing and other necessary releases and licenses for all productions. • Collaborate closely with the VP, Creative, Marketing & Business Development in the costing and delivery of all projects.• Ensure that resources to jobs are allocated effectively, including where various parts of the production process will take place including script development, translations, content development, recording, editing and mixing, programming and uploading. • Provide global output reporting to the SMT on a monthly basis.Requirements: • Extensive and in-depth professional production experience gained in a combination of audio, film, video, web and/or multimedia production management• Proven ability to successfully lead and manage cross cultural and geographically dispersed Production teams• Demonstrate the ability to maximize resources and drive down production costs• Thorough knowledge of leading edge technologies, platforms and tools for content production, and the ability to leverage these to improve efficiency and quality in delivery• Demonstrate excellent analytic, forecasting, project management and organizational skills• Demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve challenges, ranging from delivery of individual productions to wider departmental and interdepartmental communication or workflow issues.• Ability to make and implement decisions, managing independently to achieve results.• Demonstrate a high level of communications skills and an ability to develop effective, productive internal and external relationships• Fluency in English is required, with one or more European or Asian languages desirable.Metrics: • The incumbent must exercise a high level of independent judgment while meeting strict legal requirements, budgetary and schedule limits. • A high level of independent judgment is required; the incumbent must be able to make sound business decisions that enhance Antenna's business performance with little direction. • The position is responsible for: 6 - 8 direct reports and 6 - 8 permanent indirect reports.• Travel across EMEA will be required throughout the year
