Director of Studio Operations & Facilities

We are looking for an experienced professional for an exciting position to lead our operations team at our new Peloton Studios London location opening in 2021.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Act as a role model and brand ambassador for Peloton
* Demonstrate honesty and integrity and lead by example to influence and inspire others
* Acknowledge your team's successes and show recognition
* Lead the Facilities, Stagehands, Hardware tech and Operations team. Set overall strategy and process for the team to successfully meet member needs.
* Create structure and process in a new facility with a brand new team. Responsible for creating procedures to open a new studio, hire, build and train a new team, assist the construction team pre-opening in related work, set a standard of cleanliness, maintenance and service.
* Manage the Workplace team responsible for creating an outstanding office environment.
* Work closely with the construction partners to learn the building systems and equipment.
* Ensure that the facilities remain a state of the art facility.
* Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations including recruiting, hiring, training, staff management; upholding and seeing that all operating policies, including service and safety standards are followed by all staff
* Partner with the Director of Guest Experience and VP of Member Experience/GM of Studios to create the ultimate experience for our members and the best place to work for our team.
* Define Metrics to determine success, trigger areas of opportunity and hold the team accountable
* Works closely with People Team to ensure all employee relations, company policies, UK laws, learning and development are being addressed appropriately.
* Maintain effective communication with the Director of Studio Member Experience to create the optimal experience for all members, employees, instructors and the local community.
* Partner with production team to assist with creating the highest quality production value.
* Coach team on time management and prioritization of tasks/initiatives to ensure all deadlines are met.
* Manage relationships with contractors, service providers and vendors maintaining a positive connection.
* Constantly evaluate the efficiency of testing hardware in-studio and look for ways to improve current processes

QUALIFICATIONS:
* At least 5-8 years of management and facilities experience
* University degree preferred
* Building opening experience preferred
* Experience in creating and implementing structure and process from scratch
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and think clearly to solve critical problems quickly
* Superior customer service skills
* Ability to work well both independently and in a team atmosphere
* Excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems and think on your feet in a fast paced environment
* Ability to build and lead a team of high performing people with the goal of achieving a very high standard of customer satisfaction
* Ability to excel and motivate staff in a fast changing, diverse environment
* Able to recognize areas needing improvement, make changes and resolve issues using good judgment
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues and customers
* Understanding of employee positions and willingness to perform duties in employees' absence
* Professional and appropriate business appearance and demeanor
* Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
