We are looking for an experienced Director, to work on an exciting new opera performance and children's drama programme for a major broadcaster and in partnership with a national opera company. The programme duration will be 1 x 44 mins and is designed to open up the arts in a playful way and inspire creativity in young people.

Extensive experience working with younger performers, and directing high quality, entertaining shows for family audiences, with a music and comedy background.

Filming is scheduled to start on Tuesday 15th March with 9 filming days in all (London-based), starting on the 15th and ending on April 22nd/23rd; with the majority of filming between 16/03 - 27/03 (or possibly extending to 31/03 depending on cast avails). With the addition of around 6 day - 10 days preparation dependant on rates.

The Director will be across preparation, rehearsals and filming, but with no involvement or budget allocation to post.

Ideal candidates will have broadcast credits in Children's Television Drama and Music.
