Digital Media Production Specialist

We have around 8,000 staff and volunteers in our Service: around 3,300 frontline crews in ambulance stations across London, 500 people in our two 999 control rooms and hundreds of support staff based in our offices across the city. We also have two 111 control centres, in Barking and Croydon.

The London Ambulance Service is looking for a Digital Media Production Specialist to join the team. Working as a part of the Internal Communications team you will be responsible for producing and editing engaging digital media, consistent with the business brand, tone, and guidelines.

Responsibilities:
* Promote, coordinate and produce LAS TV. Including a live stream with staff and the Executive Team, three times a week, recognition events and high profile visits.
* Responsible for the in-house Media studio, including maintenance and use of the kit.
* Provide specialist knowledge of streaming services such as Microsoft Stream/Teams, Facebook Live, YouTube and Restream.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to the communications team and other departments within the Service regarding the planning and production of photography, filming and broadcast media related products.
* Where required train staff in the basic use of still and video cameras as well as broadcast equipment and techniques for a variety of tasks and situations.
