Digital Media Producer

London

Video production:
• Research, write and produce high quality, compelling video and audio content in a variety of styles for multiple platforms and audiences.
• Take ownership over projects, from initiation through to delivery and review, incorporating feedback from relevant stakeholders.
• Innovate to create new formats of video and audio journalism based on audience needs. Contribute to the development these formats into new repeatable strands of content and support with documentation.
• Production support for Senior Film Producer (Exhibitions and Partnerships) in the research, filming, edit assisting and through to delivery. Supporting the creation of bespoke, integrated exhibition film experiences during dedicated, pre-scheduled periods throughout the year.
Collaboration:
• Represent the NHM Studios as part of highly collaborative, multidisciplinary product teams.
• Respond to briefs and consult with stakeholders, prioritising work based on product team objectives.
• Be proactive in developing new ideas and taking responsibly over their delivery.
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders from across the Museum.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure work is aligned across both functional and product teams.
Organisation:
• Prepare and plan work, documenting as appropriate. Keep projects well organized in order to make available for future use.
• Manage own time, prioritising tasks in a fast paced, changing environment and ensure that video is produced efficiently and on time to meet a pre-agreed schedule.
Purchasing:
• Research and recommend equipment for purchasing based on business requirements.
• Enter purchase orders and invoices using Museum's accounting software.
Health and Safety:
• Ensure health and safety is a key component of planning and delivery. Create risk assessments using the Museum's online H&S management software.
Additional duties:
• Other duties may be required.
Working Pattern:
• You may be required to work outside out regular working hours on request. Occasional national and international travel supporting off site filming may be required.
