WLP, an innovative AV production agency based in Central London and Wales, with a wide range of clients in the entertainment business, is looking for a Digital Media Platform Delivery Technician to join the team.

Job spec:
• Conforming AV content to OTT/VOD platform specifications and delivery to Amazon, iTunes, Google, Sky, and others.
• Careful checking and QC of all assets against platform specs
• Full runtime QC of audio streams and video assets
• Editing, amending, versioning and performing other remedial fixes to AV
• Amending, versioning, localizing and adapting static or motion graphics
• Encoding, exporting and delivering content in a variety of formats, at stakeholder request
• Agreement with and adherence to our security and anti-piracy policies and careful handling of pre-release material
Required skills:
• 3 years experience as an AV technician, preferably in the delivery of TV and film content to VOD platforms
• An excellent knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere, and the workflows therein
• A meticulous eye for detail and high degree of ability to spot errors in the spec or formatting of AV assets
• An excellent knowledge of AV formats and codecs, including different frame rates, multi-channel audio, and SD/HD file outputs
• Experience of digital media workflows
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• An ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
• A problem solving mind-set and positive attitude, and an ability to think on one's feet
• Flexibility to occasionally work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines
• A good understanding of subtitling specs and formats
• Must be organized, diligent, and detail-oriented
Desirable Skills:
• An understanding of 4k video formats (e.g HDR)
• An understanding of Dolby Atmos audio
• An understanding of and experience with Adobe AfterEffects
• An understanding of DVD and blu-ray authoring workflows
