Digital Media Officer

Brentwood

World Snooker, which runs the sport's global professional tour, has a vacancy for a digital media officer to join its growing team.

The role will be based in Brentwood, Essex but will include working at snooker's biggest tournaments in the UK and overseas.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at one of the world's fastest growing sports. The role would suit a graduate with boundless creativity and enthusiasm.

Key responsibilities and required skills will include:

Creating and editing high quality video content for use on World Snooker's digital platforms.

Managing official social media accounts and creating high quality content.

Presenting video content on camera.

In-depth knowledge of video editing software, digital equipment and use of Photoshop is essential.

Working with the team on all aspects of snooker's media operation. Helping to grow our following on social media and create content which engages fans.

Knowledge of snooker and a passion for sport.

Strong communications skills

Willingness to work long hours, weekends and spend several months of the year on site at events. Ability to work within a team, often to tight deadlines, and co-operate with colleagues and stakeholders.
