Digital Designer

Swindon

We are a leading supplier of single-use medical and surgical products with a reputation for delivering high quality products and excellence in customer service, helping healthcare professionals offer best practice solutions to their patients.

Your Experience:

You will be educated to degree level (preferred) or equivalent and have demonstrable experience of working in a busy in-house creative department or agency. Proficient in Adobe Creative suite including Adobe Premier Pro (or other video editing software) and Adobe After Effects. You will be comfortable designing and artworking and have experience of designing across a multitude of online channels. Able to work from corporate templates and brand guidelines you will have experience of working with marketing departments and managing your own workload along with strong communication, written and presentation skills. Knowledge of photography, videography and editing software is highly desirable. A good understanding of Wordpress and PowerPoint would be an advantage.

Overview of the Role

This role is a maternity cover for up to 1 year. The main responsibilities of the role include producing engaging graphic solutions to support our online and digital marketing campaigns for promoted products including eshots, web assets, training videos and animations, social media assets and converting print AW into digital e-brochures. In addition, you will be required to act as one of the brand guardians for Vygon across all external and internal channels.

Main responsibilities of the role include creating engaging digital graphics to be used across our marketing campaigns including but not limited to eshots, social media and our websites. You will be used to taking a brief from a 'client' and turning this into a engaging and interactive output to engage with the target audience such as gifs, videos and animated videos.

You will need to have experience of creating artwork, managing multiple projects and adhering to brand guidelines, along with working with other creatives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Work with Campaign Executives, Business Development & Product Managers to bring their marketing campaigns to life through digital creative execution, that best engages with our target audience.
2. Creation of high quality, accurate and on-brand digital assets to support strategic ranges. Including but not limited to: eshots, social media, website assets, gifs, photography, social-optimised video files and bitesize promo videos to showcase new product offering.
3. Consistent use of brand templates and guidelines ensuring that artwork is delivered accurately, on time and delivered to a high standard.
4. Working alongside the team Design Executive to synergise our offline and online materials to support campaigns and share best practise.
5. Ownership and accountability for imagery on the website ensuring it is accurate, strategic product images are populated, on brand and meets briefs from Campaign Executives/ Marketing Manager.
6. Suggestions and exploration on channels selection for us to use, what are our competitors using and how can we differentiate our brand e.g: Podcasts, YouTube, animated videos, webinars etc
7. Awareness of competitor branding and proactive development and suggestions on how to improve the Vygon brand.
8. Ensure jobs are stored and named correctly for team efficiency and ease of access, ensuring team are aware of naming conventions and where items live.
9. Proactively seek customer feedback to improve and refine marketing messaging, brand and marketing channels used, to include sales team visits and exhibition attendance as required.
10. Work cross functionally across departments to ensure projects run smoothly.
11. Support other team members and work as part of the team, remaining flexible always.
12. Be proactive and committed to improving the Marketing department and its processes and efficiencies, ensuring all deadlines and briefs are met.
13. Take ownership for assigned projects and tasks, completing them within the designated timeframe.
14. Responsible for maintaining a professional and harmonious working relationship with all colleagues, customers, clients, agents and third-party business partners or representatives of the Company.

Skills, Experience & Behaviours:

• Essential - Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Premier and After Effects.
• Essential - Previous experience of video and sound editing.
