DIGITAL COMMUNITY EDITOR

Have you led a team in managing a website with at least 500,000 unique users a month or the intranet presence of a major business?
If so, you could be part of SSVC's digital transformation as we take our community portal to the next level.

Brands include BFBS Radio and Forces.tv with a focus on the UK Armed Forces and associated audiences. Our target user base is serving men and women and their families, the wider military community and anyone with an interest in the subject.

We are planning a new portal to surface military community news, entertainment, sport and event information around UK military bases at home and abroad, which will also showcase features and information about the other services we provide to the Armed Forces.

The digital community editor will create, commission and curate content, edit and manage the portal, inspire and develop content makers and champion digital to every part of the business.

This is a transformative role and the right candidate will have the experience, personality and drive to push forward a digital change programme and nurture creative talent across the organisation.

You should have a good understanding and appreciation of the military community and the ability to identify compelling stories, with recent experience in a similar role - for example in social media or audience development.
