31-Oct-2022Digital Channel & Video Content CoordinatorCirca £40,000 - Dependent on experienceBradfordWe have an exciting opportunity for a talented Video Content Coordinator who will also look after our Digital Channels to join our Internal Communications Team.As we continue to develop our ability to engage and connect with colleagues in a hybrid working environment, you will lead in the creation of engaging video content to complement written content and other internal communication activities such as online/digital or face to face communication events. You will also focus on supporting the development and maintenance of our digital communication channels, specifically our intranet platform.Key responsibilities of our Video Content Coordinator:To play a key role in supporting the delivery of wider Group Communications channel and content plans, collaborating closely with the Communications Team to bring to life communication campaigns, messages and events via our digital channels, primarily the intranet, while ensuring all content and channels embody the voice of PFG, reflect our culture and are aligned to company goals.Planning, filming and editing video for use on internal channels (intranet, email and events), with the ability to write storyboards and scripts for video contributorsTo work with the team to ensure all video content is creative and innovative, while looking for new ways to capture attention and engage people in storytelling to support our comms strategy.To support the continuous development of our Intranet to ensure it remains relevant and engaging with the potential to introduce new channels as our digital platform capability evolves.With support from our Communications Senior Business Partners, work with our intranet provider (Oak) to ensure site development and fix issues and bugs etc. Training in Oak will be providedWrite and design compelling updates and articles for our intranet, including editing images, writing and editing copy and designing graphical elements to engage a wide number of audiences.Skills & ExperienceSkills & Experience you will have:Ability to film and edit video, including animation (preferred but not essential) focusing on a range of subjects for digital channels, with an appetite to learn new creative skills for continuous creative improvement (relevant training can be provided to upskill the right candidate).Working knowledge of the key software within the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator and Photoshop for digital asset creation and photo editing, InDesign for document creation and print media, Premiere Pro and After Effects for video productionGood copywriting skills with strong attention to detail that ensure key messages are clear, easy to understand and presented in an accessible and engaging way.Confidence with MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.Demonstratable experience in a Communications or Marketing roleDesirable, not essential:Qualification in relevant subject, internal communication, digital social marketing or video productionPrevious experience with intranet development and Content Management SystemsWhy join Provident Financial Group?The satisfaction of working for a successful and ethical business who are here to help people is a big benefit of joining us, but it is not the only one.
