Recognised for our future aesthetic, we work at the cutting edge of creativity and technology, launching products for luxury brands, visionary startups and artists around the world.About the Role:We are seeking a talented Digital Artist specialising in 2D Photoshop Retouching to work in INK's Art Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, Photoshop and retouching, and effective communication and presentation skills. Additional skills within 3D creation, design and concept development are also desirable.This is an on-site role only at our studio based near Kings Cross.Key ResponsibilitiesPhotography & Retouching:Proficient in using a digital camera (SLR) for various photographic tasks.Proven proficiency with Photoshop for basic photo editing and retouching, and the following Photoshop functions:Layers: Organise and manage different elements within an image.Masking: Create complex selections and composite images seamlessly.Pathing: Use vector paths for precise selections and cutouts.Blend Modes: Apply different blending techniques to achieve desired effects.Blending Groups: Manage grouped layers for non-destructive editing. Large Files: Handling and editing large multi-layered compositions efficiently.Proficient in file management, ensuring organised and accessible digital assets.Use of Photoshop actions and batch processing for streamlined workflows.Experience in Capture One and processing RAW files.Experience in CGI post-production, working with renders and render passes.An understanding of the VRAY 'Back to Beauty concept'. And converting from 32bit render workflows, to 16 bit and 8 bit.Communication & Presentation:Proficient in using Indesign and PDF creation tools for design and layout.Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to peers and supervisors.Strong verbal presentation skills for sharing ideas with the team and clients.Ability to articulate design thinking and creative concepts clearly and persuasively.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Design, Digital Arts, or a related field.Experience with CGI post-productionAdvanced skills in using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects.Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.Experience in creating storyboards and thinking in terms of film language and sequences.Ability to stay current with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.Personal Attributes:Highly creative with a strong attention to detail.Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Ability to handle constructive criticism and implement feedback effectively.Passionate about photography, design, and 3D creation.
