Little Bird Films is a dynamic, female-founded Welsh indie making unscripted programmes for BBC3, BBC Wales, Channel 4 and S4C.

At this important time in Little Bird's growth, we're seeking a tenacious and highly creative Head of Development and Development Researcher to work alongside the senior team to help shape an enviable slate of fact-ent formats, Daytime and youth-skewing ideas to pitch to a range of UK and international broadcasters.

The Development Researcher will work closely with the Head of Development and will have a huge passion for unscripted content, with a special interest in formats and features.

They'll be obsessed with coming up with fresh new ideas, have a knack for sniffing out a good story, and will be tapped into current trends across TV, digital and social media.

They'll love writing and will have a track record of creating distinctive and impressive visual decks. The ability to self- shoot and cut taster tapes / sizzles is highly desirable.

Both roles are part-time for 6 months, and our office is based in Cardiff, but we are open to flexible and remote working.
