Development Producer wanted with proven experience in the development of tech related factual formats, especially studio formats needed to develop and produce a 6 x 15 minute series. Contract length 1-2months.

Based out of our Kennington headquarters in London, Fortemus Films is a production company focusing on the development and production of studio, factual, lifestyle and documentary programmes. We are currently in production on our latest mid length form factual series. (6 x 15m)

The Development Producer will be reporting to the Executive Producer and tasked with developing the creative idea into a format, creating scripts, sourcing contributors (with the wider team). Opportunities to Produce and/or Direct the series are available for candidates with the right experience.


Role Responsibility

• You will have strong experience developing ideas that have been commissioned and produced with a demonstrable interest in tech related factual content
• 3-5 years experience in Factual Development
• 3-5 years experience as a Producer and/or Producer Director
• Exercise sound editorial judgement with experience writing high quality pitch documents.
• Determined self starter, experienced with budgets, running a small crew and delivering excellent production value.
