PART TIME/SHORT TERM CONTRACT
SALARY: £350 per day, 21 days available, 1-2 days per week

ABOUT US
We are a film production company based in Leicester, being supported by Channel 4 as part of their 2022 Emerging Indie Fund. ImageNova offers film, video and television production services to businesses in the UK and across Europe. Our productions cover television, documentaries, online content and advertisements. Our clients include Channel 4, BBC, Sony and Academy Award winning companies Cooke Optics and Panavision.

We are developing the TV strand of our business, with recent commissions from Channel 4 and BBC. As part of our expansion moving forward, we are looking to find a new member of our team to help develop ideas and pitches to commissioners. We want to make television that 'rethinks the way people live' across documentaries and factual content, and we are looking for a candidate who shares this area of interest in human stories.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in close collaboration with the managing directors to create, develop and pitch innovative, original ideas to broadcasters and streamers
- Research and develop ImageNova's Factual development slate in line with the company ethos and strategy
- Pitch new ideas to the international market and help to grow the development slate with drive and creative vision.
- Breakdown commissioning briefs to discover what opportunities they offer for ImageNova
- Build strong relationships with a range of broadcasters, commissioners and social publishers
- Introduce ImageNova to new linear and streaming commissioners, and pitch ideas.
- Creating and reviewing our pitches/pitch decks and ensuring they are of the highest quality, presenting feedback in reviews with editors.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Substantial experience as a Development Producer and a track record of developing ideas that have been commissioned.
- A passion for great content with a strong understanding of conceptualisation through to execution.
- To be knowledgeable in factual entertainment content and documentaries.
- A clear understanding of exceptionally produced film and video content.
- A team player at every level, and able to work with ImageNova to see a pitch through to commission.

DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Existing relationships with commissioners (Linear and Streaming)
- An understanding of ImageNova, our content and tone of voice.
- A passion for films, TV and storytelling.
- A team player that that can work in a creative environment.

- The Leicester office is available 24 hours a day,
