A leading television production company are looking for a Development Producer to join the team. You will be focused on developing factual entertainment programmes, formats and documentaries for all of the major UK broadcasters.

You will be reporting to the Head of Development, helping to drive the UK factual slate and overseeing junior team members. On a daily basis you will be responsible for creating and brainstorming new programme ideas, writing treatments, conducting thorough research, gaining access and preparing pitches. You will also have the chance to attend Commissioning Editor meetings, and may have the opportunity to produce taster tapes.

This is a role for somebody who is obsessed with everything UK factual, from 'The Great British Bake Off' to 'Hospital'. You must have at least two years solid programme development experience, and although you will ideally be at 'Producer' level, the production company would also consider Development APs and Development Executives who have the right experience.
