Little Door Productions are expanding and looking for a Development Assistant to join their team. The role will provide editorial and administrative support to the development team.

You will work with the development team managing the the day-to-day administration of projects in development, coordinating and attending script meetings as well as taking notes. A key part of the role will include reading submissions, writing reports and providing specific project research.

We are looking for someone that has at least 12 months' experience in scripted drama. You will have a high standard of literacy, be flexible in your working approach and have a passion for TV and Film.

Experience and Skills:
• 12 months' experience in scripted drama;
• Excellent research and organisational skills;
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate administration systems;
• A high standard of literacy;
• Experience of script reading and writing script reports;
• Sound editorial judgement and sensitivity, both verbally and on paper;
• Ability to work unsupervised, exercising initiative and assessing priorities but referring issues upwards where appropriate;
• Demonstrates commitment, motivation and drive.

This role is offered on a permanent contract with benefits.

Salary dependant on level of experience.

Office hours Monday - Friday 9:30-18:00.
