A Productions are looking for a Designer to work with us on the exciting new series, Digital Girl for CBBC aimed at 8 - 11 year olds.

"In the heart of Frisco City, in the hyper-connected near future, two mysterious teen superheroes, Digital Girl and Hack Girl engage in an epic digital battle for the future of the city, its inhabitants and their freedom."

We need talented and experienced designers to create backgrounds, characters, and props for this full CGI 26×22' series.

A Productions ethos, established over numerous years and long form series, is to tell stories authentically; our success is based on the creative teams we build.

General Duties:

Work as part of a team to create backgrounds, props, and character designs in line with the Art Director's brief and client feedback.
Work with the Art Director to ensure the design vision is implemented and maintained through to final asset creation.
Work with the CG supervisor and Art Director to make sure assets are created in line with the needs across the production.
To work with the Production Team to meet the requirements of the schedule.
Essential skills and experience

Good knowledge and understanding of 3D animation pipelines.
Previous experience of working on a 3D Maya project would be a bonus.
Ability to prioritise design order to deliver to a tight schedule.
Strong ability to use colour in sensitive and creative manner.
Photoshop knowledge is essential.
Z-Brush experience a bonus
Experience in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
Strong organisational skills.
Good communication skills and experience working in a team environment.
Must be able to work to own initiative.
