Data Management Coordinator - Broadcast TV

If you have exceptional attention to detail, enjoy reviewing and processing data and working with Excel spreadsheets - we want to hear from you. The position has the responsibility of managing the asset delivery metadata, from receipt of assets through to MAM and ingest, according to transmission priority or other agreed deadlines & to feedback any issues to the relevant teams. Provide missing lists based on TX schedules. This will be received from a wide variety of channels / clients from UK, US, Australia and others and will require commitment to timely and accurate input, which is fundamental to this role.

Role
? Full time role based at home during COVID 19 then in brand new offices next to Reading rail station.
? Overseeing the delivery of file metadata required for Ingest, from both internal and/or from external suppliers.
? Update and manage the metadata content entry for all assets entered into MAM
? Making sure all metadata is transferred, catalogued, or recorded accurately and in timely manner in conjunction with schedules in systems, such as Excel.
? Generate and update missing lists for all types of content, ensuring timely communication of these lists to all relevant departments and collating all updates to master lists.
? Pursuing non delivery of metadata from internal departments and external suppliers, communicating any faulty or incorrect metadata back to the relevant supplier/department until metadata either provided or removed from schedule prior to planned TX.
? Overseeing issues with any content and ingest metadata workflows for all types of content, problem solving and escalating problems as and when required.
? Main point of contact for all operational departments for all content metadata, long and short form and updating them on status of material due for transmission or other workflow deadlines.
? Conduct regular audits of MAM input across workflows. Assist in the support of regular housekeeping of all storage.
? To respond to phone call and e-mail queries on content metadata and statuses as required.
? Be responsible for updating any metadata tech specs and operating procedures as appropriate upon instruction
? Supporting other team members/departments required from time to time

Key Skills
? Technical knowledge of TV broadcasting terminology / processes / metadata management - essential
? Excellent organizational / administrative skills and attention to detail - essential
? Ability to coordinate a large amount of information accurately and to deadlines - essential
? Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, IE and other web browsers - essential
? Skill in working with Microsoft Office suite & MAM / inventory management applications - essential
? Experience of video editing with editing software e.g. Adobe Premier Pro (not essential but would be an advantage)
? Experience within a busy transmission / post -production environment (not essential)
? High levels of initiative, motivation and time management
? Commitment to continuous improvement
? Ability to handle working within a pressurised and fast paced environment
? Ability to work and communicate confidently across numerous areas of the business at the same high level
? Enthusiastic and willing to pass on their experience
? Pro-active approach to solving problems
